5 Questions with Davide Scarparo

1. Would you like to tell us a bit about yourself?

Born in Veneto in 1989, I am the eldest of four brothers. I have lived in Rome since 2012, where I have held various managerial positions in various Italian and multinational companies. Today, I am a manager who has applied his skills and network to promoting the Italian know-how and lifestyle, which I have summarized in the tagline, La Dolce Ita.

2. How did you develop your passion for sartorial menswear?

My passion came when I moved to Rome and I was able to understand the soul of the Italian lifestyle. Men's style is one of the most important elements of Italianness

3. Are there specific brands you naturally gravitate toward?

Chiaia Napoli is a brand led by two guys that I respect a lot, who have been able to interpret classic clothing and Italian and Neapolitan style in a modern way in a lifestyle key.

4. Are there any style “no-gos” for you personally?

A man should avoid these 3 things: white socks, sandals and a fanny pack.

5. What are your five menswear essentials?

Blue suit, grey trousers, jeans, blue polo shirt and white shirt.
